A cryogenics specialist assigned to the secretive Project: Bogatyr, Dr. Andrea Zelenyi was exposed to experimental cryonic gases in the course of her duties that transformed her into a being capable of generating intense cold and ice.
Code-named Coldsnap, Zelenyi was assigned to the Russian government's official Red Guard unit, where she continues to serve. Recently, she was abducted by the villainous Cyborilla to be part of his Damage, Inc. group, where she confronted the hero Crimson Streak, as well as her old teammate/foe Steel Wolf.
