Journalism has been in Martin Kelly’s blood since the day he was born. Though he enlisted in the Army and became a Ranger, he quickly made the move to reporting for the Army’s newspaper the Stars & Stripes. It was here that he earned a reputation for tenacity and truth-seeking that matched his skills in combat.

Following his retirement from service, Martin went to work for several newspapers, but the shrinking market led him to take a more secure position as Editor-in-Chief at Vance City’s famous MEME Magazine where he tries to teach and guide the young reporters of the day with the same tenacity and thirst for the truth for which he’s known.

Martin possesses no superhuman powers and/or abilities. But though he’s past his prime, make no mistake that he’s still a force with which to be reckoned. A physically powerful man despite his age, Martin is skilled in unarmed combat, the use of firearms, and retains a lifetime of military instincts and skills from his days as an Army Ranger.
