A pioneer in robotic development and organic interface, Dr. Nicolai Dmitrivich Kirinev was obsessed with his own mortality and took the first opportunity he had to transplant his brain into a highly- specialized and powerful robotic body of his own design.

His intelligence now amplified even beyond its already-impressive previous levels, Kirinev was assigned to serve with the Red Guard in a mainly support position, but the calculations and scenarios his computer-assisted mind was now capable of producing quickly found him in a battlefield role.

Kirinev is cold, aloof and logical, and possesses more than a bit of a mean streak. Human life means little to him, as he now considers non-machine life to be inferior. He also maintains sole control of the massive robotic entity known as Cerebex, using it as needed in combat.
