Pastor Grumman is the leader of the Brotherhood of Clerics - a Protestant group with the mission of destroying evil in God's name. Although they share an animosity with the Catholic Warrior Nuns, they generally work together for the common good.

Pastor Grumann is in possession of a powerful staff as well as 'divine knowledge,' providing him with a sense of precognition and intelligence to help him and his brothers fight evil.
