HISTORY
Saul Rofeeld visits the editor of the Globe. He states that his uncle, Dudley Gildersock, plans to split up Dudley's emerald collection. The editor assigns Paul Patton to the case, thought Paul decides to go as The Fox. He meets Gildersock at the Hotel Winkler, yet the men are waylaid by a masked gunman. Dudley is killed, but The Fox is not injured.
The Fox meets up with Saul, and the two go to seek out the masked gunman. Saul intentionally rams his car into a pole in an attempt to kill The Fox. The Fox subdues Rofeeld and turns the man over to the police.
