Left Hand appears in the first Vampire Hunter D animated film, helping D in his fight against Rei-Gensei's gang, whilst offering his trademark sarcastic, and occasionally perverted, commentary.
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
D and Left Hand then appear once again in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, the second anime adaptation of Vampire Hunter D, based on the novel; "Demon Deathchase".
Left Hand helps combat Benge's shadow manipulations, and also provides the audience with some insight into the silent and stoic, D. In particular, Left Hand suggests that D wishes to prevent the union of Meier Link and Charlotte, not to save the girl, but to prevent the birth of another Dhampir.
