Bleeding Gums Murphy is a (now-deceased) jazz musician. He played the sax, and released only one album, Sax On The Beach. When Bleeding Gums died, he left his sax to Lisa Simpson, who still plays it. Bleeding Gums appeared to her, via a cloud, one last time to play jazz with her.
