Spider-pig was going to be killed after he was done being used for a Krusty Burger commercial. Homer puts an end to it immediatley and takes him in. Homer gives him a lot of affection, whereas Marge just finds him as a mess maker. Later in the movie, Homer changes his name to Harry Plopper.
