Overview

Snake is a recurring thief in the Simpsons. He often steals from the Kwik-E-Mart and is sent to jail when he is caught, though he somehow always escapes.

Origins

Chester Turley, or Snake Jailbird, also known as Professor Jailbird and Detention Bird. In a documentary made by Declan Desmond showing the pasts of several residents of Springfield, a 13-year-old Snake named "Detention Bird" is being chased around by a 16-year-old Clancy Wiggum.

Snake has called himself Professor Jailbird on occasions, and it is revealed that he used to be a Indiana Jones-type archeologist , until Moe stole Mayan gold coins that Snake discovered and was going to donate to a museum. Since then, Snake vowed to get revenge on society by robbing convienance stores.

Creation

Snake Jailbird was first introduced to the world in 1991, he was created by Matt Groening.

Weapons & Equipment

Snake has a lot of guns on him, including pistols and shotguns. Snake always comes equipped with at least one gun, and has a cigarette pack tucked into his sleeve at all times. Snake also has a car named "Lil' Bandit" which is a 1969 Dodge Charger.
