When an adjacent dimension to Earth’s is devoured by a paradoxical implosion, its inhabitants abandon their home world in a tragic event known as The Trek, reaching out across time and space in a frantic, last-ditch effort to escape. The survivors arrive in various time periods, on multiple planets and in many alternate dimensions, unaware of each other’s fate. One of their number is Ssam-Yl, precocious Teen of Tomorrow.

Meridian possesses super strength, super speed, the power of unlimited flight, and the ability to move between dimensions. He can move instantaneously in three-dimensional space, making him virtually impossible to defeat.
