In 2461 Colonel Vega was the prison director at a state security run facility in Paraguay. Under his direction many people considered political dissidents were tortured and murdered, sometimes along with their families. At some point in his history he fled prosecution on Earth to the distant planet Konstantynow where he lived the life of a dilettante under an assumed name. Twenty years later Nexus arrived on Konstantynow and assassinated him. He has the singular distinction of being Nexus' first "on screen" kill.
