Riley met the Badger in a park in Madison, Wisconsin while he was practising martial arts. He proclaimed to be a martial artist as well and the master of the "Jabberwocky".Riley is also an associate professor of Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
The two became close friends over time and Riley even helped him defeat Ron Durgan, nearly killing them both in the process. Riley currently works as a bodyguard for celebrities.
