The is given a new lease on life in the a pages of The Liberty Brigade. In his new retcon origin story, his secret identity is Rutger Gerhst, a 38 year-old German agent and saboteur. The source of his special pills were designed by The Genius. Once Gerhst is on a mission, alongside his wife Tanya, they disrupt the U.S. Navy and merchant ships. Frost has run afoul of most American heroes including The Blue Flame and The Cavalier.
