Origin
Dr. Paine worked as a doctor in Atlanta General Hospital. He was angry at a man named Sam Gunhill, and blamed people like him for the civilization's downfall. He decided to kill the man, even though he was protected by the police. He was caught and he stabbed one one the policemen with a scalpel. The police opened fire and killed him. This was during the Pandora Effect, and the doctor was sent back to Earth with supernatural powers.
