Actress Shirley Jones played the role of Shirley Partridge for four seasons from 1970 to 1974 on the ABC televsion series, "The Partridge Family". It shoud be noted that on the series Shirley played as the mother of David Cassidy, aka Keith Partridge, while in real life she was his step-mother. Besides being the Partridge Family mom for four years, she is best known for being the female lead in the popular 1955 musical film "Oklahoma".
