Ausar was a male Jedi Master of the Nikto species, with his supspecies being Kajain'sa'Nikto. Ausar was on friendly terms with, at the time fellow Jed A'Sharad Hett, who would later turn into a Sith Lord. During the Seige Of Saleucami where the two fought together, amongst other Jedi, it was questioned by A'Sharad to Ausar on whether fighting others of his own species bothered him, with Ausar replying with the fact that these Nikto were elitists and were deemed unfavoured by other Nikto. This emphasised how Ausar thought of himself as a Jedi first and a Nikto second. During this battle, Ausar was later killed.
