After the kingdom in which he lived was overthrow, a young warrior was spared by King Madacon. The King instructed his sorcerer, Lord Brelaq, to wipe his mind, give him a new identity, raise him as his kin and teach him his craft.

Bahira was a playmate and close childhood friend of Prince Ederik but that relationship has soured.
