Origin

Casey Marie Jones is the future daughter of April O'Neil and Casey Jones. Sadly, Casey Marie was born after her father's and Leonardo death at the hand of the Foot Clan. She was also born after the accident that took her mother's foot and hand and apparently killed Michelangelo.

April and Casey Marie lived in the Turtle's Lair in the sewer, assuming all the TMNT had been killed. At some point April realized that Casey Marie had absorbed some of the Mutagen from her parents. This gave Casey Marie heightened strength and agility as well as superhuman healing.

Casey Marie knew she was special, but it wasn't until Michelangelo returned to New York as the Last Ronin, that Casey Marie learned how truly special she was. The last alive TMNT became her Sensei and taught her to "Know Peace".

Creation

Casey Marie was created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird for their series TMNT: The Last Ronin. She only appears in the TMNT Last Ronin Universe, an alternated world set 16 years in the future where Michelangelo is the last remaining TNMT alive.

Casey Marie is a leader of a small gang in the Hiroto Saki controlled New York of the future. One night see notices an injured Mutant Ninja Turtle collapse in the sewer. When she finds him, the turtle is unconscious so she drags him back to the Lair, where her mom, April O'Neil patches him up.

Over the next few days, Casey Marie learns that the turtle is Michelangelo and he starts to train her in the ways of being a ninja. The pair butt heads over Casey being stubborn but they soon show that they care for each other very much.

Casey Marie helps leads the resistance to take down Baxter Stockman's island fort but when it looks like Casey Marie may get killed Michelangelo forbids his student from joining him when he takes down Hiroto Saki.

Casey Marie doesn't listen and follows him, She is there when the final turtle dies, and finds Splinters journal. She uses the journal to continue her training and plans on training the four new turtles that April appears to be growing.
