Egghead was originally considered to be a prototype for Elmer Fudd, but cameos in Daffy Duck's Quackbusters, Looney Tunes Back in Action and various other Looney Tunes projects that also feature Elmer Fudd have confirmed that Egghead is a separate character entirely. He has also made appearances in Looney Tunes comic books.
