Fozzie Bear
Fozzie Bear is the resident comedian of the Muppets, as a stand-up comic he's always telling bad jokes that nobody finds funny. Usually following each of his jokes members of his audience will throw food items at him, such as tomatoes.

Origin
Fozzie the bear is a small bear muppet who wears a hat and scarf, and is the resident comedian of the Muppets. He also loves comedy and is always telling jokes, his jokes are almost always followed by his catchphrase "Wakka Wakka."
Creation
Fozzie Bear was created by Jim Henson, who also created the rest of The Muppets. His name comes from Faz Fazakas, another individual who played a part in creating him, except Fazakas didn't draw or write any thing, he simply designed a mechanism that allowed Fozzie Bear's ears to wiggle.
