Gizmo
Gizmo is a Mogwai and if fed after midnight will turn into a Gremlin. Gizmo was also the star of Gremlins the movie in 1984, and it's sequel, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, in 1990.

Origin
Gizmo is a Mogwai who was purchased by Rand Peltzer for his son Billy. There are three very important rules that go along with owning a Mogwai, one never expose it to bright light (especially sunlight, which will kill it), two never get it wet (which will make it multiply); and, most importantly: never feed it after midnight (that will turn them into a Gremlin).
