Alan Albright was originally a human kid who was captured by Servantis, taken to the Null Void, and with the use of Kevin Levin's power and a Pyronite, was turned into a Human/Pyronite Hybrid. He, along with Manny, Helen, and Pierce, formed a group named the Amalgam Kids and Servantis used them to do nasty things. They failed in their ultimate mission, and thus had their memories erased by Servantis
He was on the run from a sheriff who suspected him to be behind some recent arson cases. He was eventually captured and had his plumbers' badge taken from him, and then was put in a cold room so he could not use his powers.
