Origin

Konnar and Red Sonja were celebrating the Festival of Valahiei, a time when the veil between this world and the underworld was at its thinnest. An old woman approached them, asking for a warrior to save her son Iain who was held captive in the woods. Red Sonja agreed to help the woman and Konnan offered to go with her, rather than letting her roam the woods alone at Valhiei. In the woods, Red Sonja was distracted by an undead Kulan Gath. In the meantime, Konnan was beheaded by a lycanthrope, who was then slain by Red Sonja. The lycanthrope turned out to be Iain, the son of the old woman. The woman thanked her for killing her son before the curse could claim his soul.
