Sheckil was a Lieutenant in the Imperial Navy. He went with Darth Vader to Bespin to try and lure Luke Skywalker to Cloud City. Sheckil escorted Lando Calrissian when Darth Vader ordered him to take Princess Leia, Chewbacca and C-3PO to his ship. During the walk through the halls of Cloud City, Lando secretly contacted Lobot.

The group briefly encountered Luke Skywalker, Sheckil grabbed Princess Leia and used her as a human shield to guard himself and prevent Luke from attacking. Soon after this,  Lobot arrived with several security guards. Sheckil and the accompanying  Stormtroopers were taken prisoner by them.
