A Zabrak Jedi Master, who was stationed at and lived at The Hidden Jedi Temple, Mai was the one who attended to Azlyn Rae while two of her Jedi comrades, Cade Skywalker and Shado Vao, were meeting with The Jedi Council. 
 
When Jariah saw Jedi Master Rasi Tuum and realised he was the person that he held accountable for killing his father, Jariah backed away from the group of Jedi in a weird fashion. Being concerned for him, Mai followed him and asked him whether he was ill, having taken offense to this, he punched Mai which ended up sending her into unconsciousness.
