Odan-Urr was a Jedi Master who lived in the early days of the Republic, roughly 5,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. He founded the Jedi Library at Ossus after finding a Sith Holocron following the war against Naga Sadow's Sith forces. He prefers to read and learn rather than fight, and uses his Force powers to end a fight with as little bloodshed as possible.
