Creation
Originally created for the Japanese show Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger as a minor Monster of the Week villain known as Dora Ladon. When the show was later adapted into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Dora Ladon was renamed Snizzard for a western audience and made several more appearances compared to his Japanese counterpart.
In Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger Dora Ladon is voiced by Yoshio Kawai. In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Snizzard was initially voiced by Bryan Cranston and later Bob Papenbrook.
TV Show
Snizzard made his first appearance in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 1 episode #14.
Comics
Snizzard made his first comic book appearance in Godzilla vs. the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #4 as a monster created by Rita Repulsa to fight against Godzilla and the Power Rangers.
