Origins
Lou Kaminski was a mild mannered handy man trying to fix a blocked sink drain for a little old lady. He heard voices in the pipes, which he followed into the sewers. There, he came face to face with a talking rat and a floating giant squid creature. The rat said the Many Angled Ones needed a new emissary on Earth and that Lou had been chosen.
Creation
Cthu-Lou first appeared in Black Hammer #4 by Jeff Lemire and Dean Ormston. At the time, The Great One was possessing Dr. Louis Love, a biology professor who spliced himself with radioactive squid DNA. His more common possession, Louis Kaminski, debuted in Sherlock Frankenstein and the Legion of Evil #2
