Lincoln Red Crow is the newly appointed chief of the Oglala Lokota people on the Prairie Rose Indian Reservation in South Dakota, he has split the people of the Rez in two with his planning and building of a Casino on tribal land. He claims it is good for the reservation and good for his people but some thing he stays to far from the old ways.
In the middle of this split a man named Dashiell Bad Horse come back to the rez and takes on a whole bar in a fight, Red Crow seeing the opportunely for added muscle and hired Bad Horse to his group of corrupt tribal police.
Having Bad Horse helping out his tribal police, Red Crow starts busting up meth labs and cleaning up some of the rez.
