Origin

Lola is Eve's sister, and a protagonist of the Vertigo title Junk Culture.

Creation

Lola was created by Ted McKeever.

Character Evolution

Lola and Eve were created by two scientists - Dr Chandelier and Dr Romero - as part of an experiment to make the perfect synthetic soldier, a "combat robot with a heart." But the experiment went awry, and the original biomechanical foetus split into two, resulting in twin girl cyborgs. Unfortunately, this split also resulted in a division of characteristics: one twin contained all the good, accurate, functioning parts while the other contained all the bad, amoral or malfunctioning qualities of a combat robot. According to the doctors, it took years of part replacements to repair the bad robot.

Lola is the "bad twin" of the two,and is a very unstable and random character, who often speaks in catchphrases and nonsensical slogans. After an electrical accident, she becomes even more unpredictable and violent.

She is homicidally obsessed with a singer named Al Roma.
