Albert and Evelyn had been married and moved to Lincolnshire before the Great War and when Evelyn learned the love of her life had been killed in the line of duty she was heart broken, but when Albert showed up in her bedroom one night Evelyn had no idea what to think.

Albert had been killed on the battlefield but was "saved" by Haigus when the evil master turned Albert into a Vampire, just like himself. Now back home, Albert choose not to kill Evelyn and instead fed off her for several nights, slowly changing her into a creature of the night like himself.

This had worked for few nights but then Lord Henry Baltimore came to Lincolnshire to investigate the vampire rumors. He tracked Albert and some of his vampire cohorts and easily dispatched the evil crew.

Albert never knew that, that morning, Baltimore returned to the Yeardsley manor and upon finding Evelyn turning into a vampire, helped Albert's love destroy herself becoming evil like him.
