Megatheos is one of the many gods in Groo the Wanderer. He once wagered that his champion Arcadio could beat the champions of the other gods. Later he and the elder gods had to deal with a new upstart of a god named the Star God who wanted to supplant the old gods. Later the worshipers of Megatheos's rival Diothos began to declare that Diothos was the one true God and waging war on non believers thus causing friction among the gods.
