Muktuk Wolfsbreath is an indigenous shaman native to northern Asia or Siberia in an undisclosed era prior to any industrialization or colonization by white Europeans. He was the mentor and lover of Nusqua, who later conspired to assume the power of a goddess and tried to kill Muktuk. In his vertigo appearances, he is often assisted by a weasel spirit guide that he refers to as "Weasel." Through ritual magic, he can communicate with animals, like his reindeer and Siberian tigers; resurrect the recently deceased; levitate, and astral project. He has a boat in the underworld made from the skin and bones of the first shaman that he defeated and killed.
