Creation
Robin Mawhinney's death kicks off everything in The Boys comic. She is the girlfriend of Wee Hughie and is quickly killed in the first issue.
Major Story Arcs
Robin Mawhinney and Wee Hughie are on a date in a fair where Robin says she loved Hughie for the first time. They are happy and dancing together. Suddenly Robin is smashed into a wall by a villain A-Train tackled, not feeling any remorse about it. This would spark the entire motivation of Hughie going forward, as well as most events. Her legacy would be a role in both A-Train and Hughie's stories, which ended when Hughie finally got his revenge by killing A-Train.

Renamed Robin Ward, Robin's role in the series is similar to that of the comic. Her relationship with Hughie is far more fleshed out through stories told, and the scene prior to her death. Like the comics, she's murdered by A-Train, although this time by A-Train himself who is genuinely sorry. Hughie realizing that Robin wouldn't want him haunted by this anger, and seeing genuine attempt to be better by A-Train, he manages to forgive him.
