When Lee was disowned and sent to Earth by God, she was found in the desert by the inhabitants of an Arab tribe. She was brought to their camp. Ayr, a young girl, was the first to speak with Lee, three days after her arrival. Surprised that Lee could speak her language, Ayr asked if she was the reincarnation of a great queen from their tribe, Tin Hinan, who had died over a century ago. Seeing the hope in Ayr’s eyes, Lee played along and pretended to be Tin Hinan.

Lee suggested retrieving the remains of their late queen, now displayed in a museum along with her gold ornaments. However, upon returning to the tribe, she found that all the inhabitants were either dead or had left. Ayr was the only survivor and explained to Lee that they had been attacked by the leader of another clan. She told her that all the women and children had been taken hostage and brought to a fortress.

Determined to free them, Lee rode a horse with Ayr toward the fortress. After securing victory and massacring the opposing tribe, Lee chose to leave, even though Ayr wished she would stay and live with them.

A few years later, Ayr arrived in Bete Noire. Now known as Sirocco, she had become the leader of a powerful organization dedicated to fighting criminal groups. Her goal was to save the world.

While searching for the Fallen Angel in the city, her partner went to the church to plant a bomb. Sirocco visited the Furors but could not find the Fallen Angel. That evening, during a mass held by Jude, Sirocco made an appearance but remained standing. When Ernie Violens spotted the bomb, she waited until nearly everyone had evacuated before triggering the explosion. Only Jude remained inside.

As her partner came to pick her up by car, they were stopped by Ernie Violens. The driver was killed, but Sirocco stepped out and threw a dagger with great force into Violens’ chest. Juanita Jean rushed to defend Ernie, but Sirocco managed to escape. She launched a flare so that her team could locate her, and they arrived in a helicopter to extract her.

Before she could flee, J.J. Sachs intercepted her, and they fought under the watchful eye of Black Mariah. J.J. Sachs demanded to know why Sirocco had bombed the church. Sirocco explained that organized religion was humanity’s worst nightmare and that by destroying Bete Noire’s church, she aimed to eradicate religion elsewhere in the world.

Just as she was about to board the helicopter, Lee arrived. They recognized each other instantly but did not exchange any words.
