Origin

The first Soldier Boy was introduced to the young commander Greg Mallory as leader of The Avenging Squad, a parody of the Invaders. Because of Soldier Boy's stupidity and lack of training, both Mallory's soldiers and the Avenging Squad get killed by Germans, Mallory himself is the sole survivor of the incident. When he finds the severely wounded Soldier Boy, who's begging for help, he kills him with a grenade in cold blood.

The Boys (Amazon Series)

Soldier Boy is a main villain of The Boys season three. Back in 1984, he was sold out by his team Payback to the Russians, who would then conduct experiments on him. Soldier Boy eventual was rescued by The Boys by mistake, although due to his new ability to remove supes' powers, he could be a useful as a weapon. Soldier Boy started seeking out his old teammates, and kill them, starting with his ex, Crimson Countess. He later discovered he was the biological father of Homelander. Season three ends with him being comatosed again, and season four ends with Homelander finding him.

Gen V

Soldier Boy appears briefly in The Boys spin off series, although not in person. He appears as a fantasy, when Marie and the others travel into Cate's mind, where Soldier Boy greets them since he was Cate's celebrity crush as a kid.
