Origin
Lestat de Lioncort was a French aristocrat (the seventh son of the marquis d'Auvergne) who takes up acting in Paris and is converted into the ranks of the undead by the vampire Magnus.
Lestat is quite handsome, standing 6' tall with blond hair and blue eyes. He is often depicted as altruistic and outgoing, but he is also exceptionally vain and self-centered with an unquenchable need to perform before others, with a particular talent for music.
