Jones is a vicelord who is against the reign of the weak Grendel-Khan, Jupiter III. After Minister Raikshaw tells him that Jupiter III is going to hire the Session twins to find Grendel-Prime, the cyborg who once helped Jupiter I gain his power, Wyotek decides to try to find Grendel-Prime first, and hires Hitchcock Blue to do so.
Jones then orders Raikshaw's execution, presumably in order to keep their plan silent.
