Yeti became Giselle's guide on a world barred from magic by the Geometer Guild. He loved Thelma, another yeti, but the clan's patriarch, Kanchenjunga, fought Yeti for mating rights. Through a trick, Thelma chose Kanchenjunga, even though Yeti won the duel. Andar, an aspect of Danik, showed Yeti the truth as a way of reminding Giselle that she still retained the power of her sigil.
