Basil Royce, aka the Voice of Truth, was the antagonist in the V for Vengeance storyline ‘The Voice from Berlin’ published in The Wizard #1494-1510 (1954).
Royce was a Nazi sympathiser from Britain who defected to Germany during the Second World War. Broadcasting from a radio station in Berlin, he targeted the UK with propaganda as ‘the Voice of Truth’.
His treachery was brought to an end by Jack One and the Deathless Men.
