Admiral Strom is a Navy Commander who once called for Aquaman to help find a nuclear submarine and prevent a large leak of radiation into the ocean. Over time, it was revealed that he secretly was working for the alien race known as the Annunake and planned to kill Aquaman. Strom almost achieved this feat when he sent Charybdis after Aquaman, who was the one that took his hand in battle. For a while, Strom kept following Aquman, but failed to defeat him.
Creation
Created by writer Peter David, Admiral Strom first appeared in Aquaman #3 'Arthur Goes Hawaiian' on November 1994.
Death
Admiral Strom continuously opposed Aquaman and Aqualad until he was executed by Tiamat, one of his alien masters, for being a consistent failure.
