Aegaeon was created by writer John Ney Rieber and artist Peter Snejbjerg in The Books of Magic issue 32 in 1997.
Major Story Arcs
Aegaeon is a macho shark-man with six arms. He lives in the Tower of the Deep where the Keeper of the Tide rules. He meets Tim Hunter and tries to show him what a “real man” acts like.
They battle briefly and argue more. He tells Tim that he is afraid of himself, and constantly apologizes. Then he decides to help Tim learn what it is like to really do something, instead of just reacting. They undo the events in time that have led to the Earth area around the Tower to become corrupt and bereft of life. Then he sends Tim back to reality.
