Origin

Working as a soldier of fortune in late 1930's France, Andre became a leading force in the French Resistance when the invading Nazis captured the French capital of Paris. As a pilot in the resistance he conducted air raids over the German occupied country of Tunisia. During of World War II Andre met Janos Prohaska who invited him into the Blackhawk Squadron. He became second in command to the Blackhawks and was often co-pilot to Janos Prohaska as well as his closest friend. Andre fought with them against the Nazis through the remainder of the war. In 1943 he and the Blackhawks took part in of their greatest operations, they stopped British Nazi sympathizer Death Mayhew from dropping an atomic bomb on the United States. After the war he worked with Janos in his private air charter service, Blackhawk Airways. In 1948 Blackhawk Airways became Blackhawk express. He died sometime after the war, though the details of his death are still classified.
