Azmil has already dealt with Doctor Juris in the past. He is looking for his son who has fled and there are clues that he might be in Bete Noire. He asks for help from the city's magistrate, who has contacts that can help him.

Azmil's son, Ezil, has indeed come to Bete Noire in order to find the Fallen Angel and ask for her protection. He ran away from his father because he no longer wants to be associated with his illegal activities. Azmil is a major arms and drug trafficker and he encourages terrorist activities.

Azmil will use Ezil's fiancee, Lani, to try to convince him to return. While she speaks with Ezil in the Furors bar, Azmil listens to their conversation thanks to a microphone he planted on her.

Despite Dr. Juris' request not to cause trouble at Furors, a neutral place, when he learns that his son is there and that he has no intention of returning, Azmil will disembark with several men to bring him back. However, they will be overpowered by the arrival of Lee.

Azmil will be furious the next day because Lee has crippled 3 of his men, but Juris makes him understand that he had warned him, that he cannot afford to lose control of his city.

Azmil will pretend to leave Juris on good terms, but as soon as he leaves, he prepares his revenge. He will later have dozens of armed men disembark at Bete Noire. However, they will be greatly slowed down by Shadow Boxer, Doctor Juris' henchman. Later, a mysterious entity that kills the people of the city will cause Azmil to implode, which will put an end to his intervention.
