Origin

Bart Wellins was given superpowers when he came in contact with the radiance of Atlantis. Superman was nearby when that happened, and tried to talk with Bart, but Bart cut him off and told Superman, he will not be helping anyone other than himself with the new powers.

Major Story Arcs

Bart went on a crime spree and was dubbed Super Crook by the press. Superman tried to stop Bart multiple times, but since Superman had his powers increased recently, he didn't know how to control them, and Bart got lucky by that. Finally Superman brought up a giant piece of Kryptonite which sapped Bart's strength and captured him, ending his crime spree.
