Bedbug is able to control people or "sleepers" to do his bidding such as robberies by using mysterious bugs to infect their mind while they sleep. His first notable sleeper was Harley Quinn, who he used in order to try and break into a safe. But thanks to the efforts of Batman and Catwoman, his control was broken. Later on, Batman and Catwoman escape from the police who were indirectly deployed by Bedbug because he had set Batman up. However, his trap fails and Bedbug decides to lay low for a while.
