In this story, the Dreamer, Billy is trying to break into the Comics Industry. While doing this he encounters comic companies that do adult spoofs on well known children's characters, is used to create a Superman like character for a rival company, and works along side other comic artists such as Gar Tooth (George Tuska), Jack King (Jack Kirby), Bo Bowers (Bob Powell), Andrea and Armand Budd (Toni and Alex Blum) and others, and other such real life events from Eisner's life.
