Very little is known about Boss Glitter. Probably originally from Delta City, he rose to become an eccentric and theatrical but no less deadly mob boss with control over all of the organized criminal enterprises in Delta.
Creation
Boss Glitter was created by Keith Giffen, Tom Bierbaum, and Mary Bierbaum. He made his first appearance in The Heckler #1.
Major Story Arcs
The Heckler
Boss Glitter's organizations come under attack by the superhero Heckler, who helps the police target and arrest Glitter's lieutenants. He promotes El Gusano to head the Beach District following King Mambo's arrest. Upon discovering his former accountant John Doe's attempt to turn all of Delta generic, he sends two thugs to kill the man. Later, distressed by the Heckler's continued efforts to take down his empire, Glitter hires Bushwack'r to kill the hero. After Bushwack'r repeatedly fails to kill Heckler, Glitter sends him a bomb hidden in an arrangement of flowers, apparently killing him.
