Brainiac A, a robot created before the normal Brainiac by the Computers that ruled his home world. Brainiac A did not accept kidnapping cities for the Computers. He rebelled against the computers of his home planet and fled with the equipment prepared for the activity of kidnapping cities.

Brainiac A was created by Edmond Hamilton and Curt Swan in World's Finest Comics #158.
Major Story Arcs
Brainiac A, after rebelling and escaping with a ship and shrinking rays, decided to fight against evil societies. Along the way, he shrinks three cities whose populations oppressed others.
Among these towns is the Krytponian City of Jerat, an abandoned city where criminals took refuge and used it as a base to store their loot.
The three cities have evil inhabitants, and Brainiac A used shrinking equipment to save the respective planets from these criminals.
