According to his origin, Noah is a scientist who developed a new method of extracting gold from the oceans of the Earth. However it involved pumping away "millions of gallons of cold ocean water"
directly to the clouds above. He would get his gold but the result would be a violent storm, threatening all lives in the area. He decided putting on a Noah act and "predicting" the storms would be the only way not to be suspected.
